We worked together with teachers, environmental educators, and representatives of civil organizations from the five countries along the Tisza River. Our goal was to raise awareness among primary school students about river conservation, educate them on waste prevention, and teach them about the possibilities and importance of plastic waste recycling.

Rivers are in danger. Pollution and the effects of climate change are presenting us with growing challenges. That’s why the River Saver Schools Erasmus+ program was launched in 2023 — with the goal of having schools in every Tisza River country where children learn to love, respect, and understand rivers.

Be a Microscientist!

The ‘Be a Microscientist!’ project was launched as part of an awareness campaign about invisible river pollution and microplastics. Its aim is to raise environmental awareness among young people and to spark their curiosity about nature.
